L’Occasion, formerly L’Occasion Café, is a coffee shop that opened in Reims in 2020.

Our philosophy? Consuming well, by offering ethical specialty coffee, healthy and delicious pastries, and, more recently, a monthly brunch made with seasonal products.

For slow coffee lovers, we have selected a limited quantity of premium coffees to enjoy on site or take away. We are committed to helping people discover the rich aromas of slow coffee, which is why we develop our menu in collaboration with French roasters, which we renew regularly.

L’Occasion is also a lively and creative space, ideal for chilling out, working, writing, drawing or even taking part in the craft workshops we organise every month.

The Wine Bar

WINES DIRECT FROM PRODUCERS

When evening comes, L’Occasion changes its atmosphere: the coffee shop transforms into a wine bar at the weekend, offering a carefully selected range of wines sourced directly from partner producers and winemakers in various French regions, including Champagne, Burgundy, Languedoc, Bordeaux and many others. All our wines are available by the glass or bottle, to enjoy on the premises or take away.

You will also find soft drinks, local beer, and a menu of gourmet snacks with vegetarian options. And for the curious, we have created a menu of signature wine-based cocktails: an original experience that we highly recommend you try.

Our wine bar is designed as a place to meet and relax, perfect for sharing a drink with friends, enjoying a quiz, a blind test, bingo or simply savouring a convivial moment in a cosy setting in the heart of Reims.
